What to Expect:
Good things come in threes - our resident tattoo queen @stabby.angel will be leading a three part series on Thursdays this June (6th, 20th and 27th) where we will dive into the basics of tattoo! Mechanics and line work, shading, color and lettering - we’ll cover it all.
While better together (details below), it’s also possible to attend each on it’s own. All supplies will be provided - tattoo guns, ink, fruit and fake skin to practice on. Like our other events, we’ll also be providing wine and enough food to feed ya for dinner.

Thursday, June 6th
Session 1 - Let’s learn the basics!
The first session will focus on getting used to the machine, we’ll be learning lines, spend time free styling tattoo on fruit for practice and we will learn how to stencil on fake skin (it’s harder than you think!)
Pre-Work [Optional] - Feel free to find reference photos for inpiration during free style time!

Thursday, June 20th
Session 2 - Let’s get shading!
In our second session we’ll start with a warm up practicing on fruit. Then we’re going to move practice tattooing with our fake skin we stenciled in session one. Our focus will be lines, adding in filling in spaces (blacking out).
Pre-Work [Optional] - If you have a design you’d like to practice in session three, Angel can give you feedback live ahead of stencil printing!

Thursday, June 27th
Session 3 - Let’s get customizing!
In our third session, we’ll start with a warm up to get used to using the machines again. Then we’ll move into color packing, lettering, and you’ll get to practice your custom design stencil on fake skin! As always, there will be time for free styling :)
